VIP Connect

VIP Connect brings together LPs, consultants, and emerging managers for structured one-on-one conversations in a relaxed, informal setting — focused on investment programs, strategies, and fit. No pitches, just meaningful dialogue. Due to overwhelming interest, this year’s VIP Connect extends throughout the entire conference, creating more opportunities to make the connections that matter.

This session creates an intersection where LPs, consultants, and small and emerging managers meet. During these one-on-one meetings, institutional investors and their advisors discuss with investment managers their investment programs, focus, considerations, and processes. Note: these introductory meetings are for information exchange only.

We encourage managers to not “sell” during this time.

Attendees must register for VIP Connect by October 1, 2025 to participate in these meetings. Exceptions will not be made.

Who can participate in VIP Connect meetings?

Institutional Investors

All LPs and Consultant organizations are required to take 3 meetings to be eligible for a complimentary registration

Investment Consultants

Small, early-stage, and/or emerging managers

Please note, we are unable to guarantee any meetings for participating GPs
We strive to provide managers 2-3 managers, however we are unable to guarantee meetings for any managers

When does VIP Connect take place?

Wednesday, October 28: 8:00AM – 10:00AM ET

Thursday, October 29: 8:00AM – 9:00AM ET

Each meeting will last 15 minutes, with a 5-minute transition period.

How will the meeting scheduling and matches be managed? (LPs + Consultants)

This year, we are expanding the meeting setup to ensure that participants receive high-value meetings and connections.

All VIP Connect registrants will have the opportunity to view participating organizations and provide their preferences of those they would like to meet with.

How will know with whom I will be meeting?

The GCM Grosvenor events team will share all confirmed meetings 7-10 business days prior to the scheduled meeting times.

If we are unable to find any suitable matches, you will be notified.

Where will the meetings be hosted?

VIP Connect meetings will be hosted in person at the New York Hilton Midtown.

Each LP and Consultant will be assigned a table within the Americas Hall at the New York Hilton Midtown to use during the VIP Connect meeting timeslots on October 28, and 29.

We will not be providing virtual one-on-one meeting opportunities.

Once confirmed, these meetings will be added to your app agenda; including table numbers, times, and meeting participants.

What if I need to cancel prior to the event?

Please notify events@gcmlp.com immediately, if you are unable to attend your confirmed meetings.
